Sambor Prei Kuk is an archaeological site in Cambodia located in Kampong Thom province, 30 km north of Kampong Thom, the provincial capital, and 206 km north of Phnom Penh.
This trip to Sambor Prei Kukwas a unique and exciting opportunity for our team to work alongside pastor Sokun and 36 local pastors and leaders. Despite facing a longer travel time due to theSouth east Asian Games being held, we were filled with enthusiasm and joy as we arrived and began our work.
The seminar was a great success, with a strong and energetic group of local pastors hungry for knowledge of God’s Word and eager to discuss and learn. The level of enthusiasm for worshiping the Lord was truly inspiring, and it was clear to see the passion pastor Sokun had for youth ministry and for spreading the Word of God.
In addition to the seminar, we also distributed Derek’s teaching materials, including By Grace Alone, Faith and Works, and You Matter to God. These resources will be invaluable to the local pastors as they continue to grow in their understanding of the Word of God and work to support their communities.
